Lectrix Motors Limited is a part of SAR Group. In 1988, SAR Group was founded by the first generation entrepreneur Mr. Rakesh Malhotra. The group started it's business with the flagship company Luminous Power Technologies Pvt. Ltd.(Formerly known as SAR Silicon Systems Pvt. Ltd.). The group turnover was Rs. 1000 crores in the financial year 2009-10.

Lectrix Motors Ltd, a SAR group Company, established in 2007 with an objective to manufacture electric vehicles in India. We are focused to bring quality vehicles suiting Indian road conditions. We have in-house R & D centre with state of art test facilities for understanding and developing Electric Vehicles Drive train for suiting the customer needs.
The vehicle is powered by Luminous battery and charger. Motor and charger are being developed with European technology and currently being manufactured at our own plant at China.
